# See who mentions your accounts

Mentions happen on other people's posts, not yours. So they are easy to miss. Pozy puts them in one list.

## Where it works

| Platform | What shows up | Reply in Pozy? |

## Do it in the dashboard

1. Open **Inbox**, then **Mentions**.
2. Pick a project and an account, or see them all. Sort by **Newest first** or **Oldest first**.
3. On an Instagram mention, choose **Reply**. Write your answer and choose **Post reply**.
   - Tagged in a comment: your reply goes under that comment.
   - Tagged in a caption: your reply is a comment on their post.
4. On any other mention, choose **Open** to see it on the platform.

## More tabs on the page

- **Instagram tags:** photos and reels where people tagged your account. Private posts never show.
- **X engagement:** **Search recent posts** from the last 7 days, for example your brand name. Then **Repost**, **Bookmark** or **Follow** from any connected X account.
- **LinkedIn mentions:** paste a profile or company link. Pozy gives you the text to paste in a post, so the person or company gets tagged.

## Good to know

- The list covers the **last 7 days**.
- Comments on your own posts are not mentions. Find them in [Comments](https://pozy.ai/help/inbox/comments).
- Instagram mentions need an account connected through Facebook Login. See [Connect your social accounts](https://pozy.ai/help/connections/social-accounts).
- Sometimes the text of an Instagram mention takes a moment to load.
- You cannot reply to a story mention here. To thank people who share you in a story, set up a [story mention automation](https://pozy.ai/help/automations/story-replies-and-mentions).
