# Connect Google Search Console

Source: https://pozy.ai/help/inputs/search-console

You sign in with Google. There is no key to paste. Access is read-only, so nothing in Search Console can be changed.

## Do it in the dashboard

1. Open **Inputs** and pick the project at the top.
2. Under **Search and analytics**, on the **Google Search Console** card, choose **Connect**.
3. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your site in Search Console.
4. Allow read-only access. Keep the Search Console box ticked.
5. Back in Pozy, the **Pick a Search Console property** window opens. Choose your site, then **Use this property**.

The card fills in after the first sync. To get the numbers right away, choose **Refresh**.

## What your AI sees

| Number | Means |
|---|---|
| Clicks | Clicks from Google Search to your site |
| Impressions | Times your site showed in Google Search results |
| CTR | Clicks divided by impressions |
| Average position | Where you rank on average. Lower is better |
| Top queries | The searches that bring you the most clicks |
| Top pages | The pages that get the most clicks from search |

Each number covers the last 28 days and is compared with the 28 days before. Google needs about two days to finish its data, so the period ends two days ago.

## Or ask your AI

> Which Google searches bring My SaaS the most clicks? Which pages rank just off the first page? Suggest 3 posts that could send people to those pages.

## Good to know

- Numbers sync once a day, at 05:00 UTC. So they can be up to a day old.
- One Google account can serve several projects. Each project picks its own site. To switch, choose **Change property**.
- If the sync fails or access was removed, choose **Reconnect**.
- **No properties found** means this Google account cannot read any site. Add the site in Search Console, or reconnect with the account that owns it.
- If Pozy says Search Console access was not allowed, connect again and tick the Search Console box.
- **Disconnect** deletes the stored Google access and the synced numbers for this project. Other projects that use the same Google account keep working. To remove Pozy from your Google account fully, use your Google account's third-party access settings.
- Your AI cannot connect Search Console. You do it in Pozy.
