| sidebar_state | Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open. | 7 days |
| pozy_ref | Holds a referral code, and nothing else. Set only on the sign-up and sign-in pages, and only after you opened a referral link in the same browser tab. | Until you close your browser |
Essential cookies
Pozy uses cookies to keep you signed in, to protect sign-in against forgery, and to remember dashboard settings such as the sidebar. These are needed for the service to work, so they do not need consent.
Referral code
If you open a Pozy page from a referral link (a link with ?ref= and a code), the code is kept in your browser's session storage for that tab only. It is never sent to Pozy while you browse, and it is gone when you close the tab.
If you then open the sign-up or sign-in page in that tab, the code is copied into a cookie named pozy_ref that holds only the code, is sent only to the dashboard, and is deleted when you close your browser. If you create a workspace, the code is attached to it so the person who referred you can be recognised. If you never open a referral link, neither is set.
Preferences
Your light or dark theme choice and a few dashboard and docs preferences, such as the code language you picked, are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies, and are not sent to Pozy.
Analytics and advertising
Pozy uses no analytics or advertising cookies. If we add any, we will list each one here, explain what it does, and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in.
