Publish to your blog

Write, schedule and update articles on your WordPress, Shopify, Wix or Webflow site. Keep them as drafts until you are ready.

#Connect your site

Open Connections, then Accounts, and choose New connection. Then:

  • WordPress.com: choose Continue to WordPress.com and pick one site.
  • Self-hosted WordPress: type the Site URL, your Username and an Application password. You make one in WordPress admin under Users, then Profile. Your user must be able to publish posts and upload files.
  • Shopify: your store connection works for its blog too.
  • Wix: your site needs the Wix Blog app. Approve the Pozy app in Wix.
  • Webflow: sign in and pick one site, or paste a Site API token. The site needs a CMS blog collection and must have been published once.

#Do it in the dashboard

  1. Open Blogs and pick the Site.
  2. Choose New article.
  3. Add the title, the body, a cover image, tags and a short excerpt.
  4. Under Publishing, pick Publish now, Schedule or Save as draft.
  5. Choose Publish article, Schedule article or Save draft.

#Where it works

Site Schedule SEO title and description Good to know
WordPress Yes No New articles are drafts unless you publish
Shopify Yes Yes Make blogs like News or Guides with New blog
Wix Yes Yes Needs the Wix Blog app
Webflow No No Articles are items in a CMS collection

#Drafts, scheduling and publishing

  • A draft stays hidden on your site until you publish it.
  • A scheduled article is published by your site itself, at the time you set.
  • Edits to a published article go live right away.
  • You can move a published article back to drafts.

#Or ask your AI

Write a blog article for my WordPress site from my notes on our new onboarding. Add a cover image and three tags. Save it as a draft so I can read it first. Then draft a LinkedIn post that links to it.

#Good to know

  • Deleting an article is permanent on every platform. Pozy keeps no copy.
  • On Shopify, deleting a blog deletes every article in it.
  • Shopify sets the URL slug once, when the article is created. Set it yourself if the URL matters.
  • You can replace a cover image, but not remove it through Pozy.
  • WordPress scheduling relies on your site's own scheduled jobs. If they do not run, the article can go out late.
  • Webflow cannot schedule. Publish now, or keep a draft and publish it later.
  • Each blog site counts as one channel on your plan.
