Share one project with someone
Give a client, freelancer or partner access to one project only. Your other projects, team, billing and API keys stay private.
I found @acme on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Here is the plan:
- TikTok video, public, comments on
- Instagram reel, shared to feed
- YouTube Short, “Dark mode is here”
- Tue 3 Nov, 09:00 Europe/Madrid · comment-to-DM on “price”
Shall I schedule it?
Scheduled on 3 platforms. I will reply to price questions with a DM.
In the dashboard a project is called a profile.
#Pick how much they get
| Access | What they can do |
|---|---|
| View only | See posts, analytics, the inbox and inputs. They cannot change anything |
| Social media | Post, schedule, reply and see analytics on the social accounts. No ads, no inputs |
| Full access | Everything in the project: posting, inbox, analytics, ads, inputs and connecting accounts |
| Choose connectors | Only the accounts and inputs you pick. You decide if they can make changes or only look |
#Do it in the dashboard
- Open Connections, then Profiles.
- Open the project's menu and choose Share.
- Type their email.
- Under Invite as, choose:
- Pozy account: the project shows up under Shared with you, next to their own workspace.
- Guest: they sign in only to work on this project. No workspace of their own.
- Under Access, pick a level from the table above.
- With Choose connectors, tick the accounts and inputs. Turn on Can post, reply and make changes if they should do more than look.
- Choose Share.
They get an email. You can also copy the invitation link and send it yourself.
#Change or remove access
Open Share on the same project again. Under People with access, open a person's menu to change their access or remove them. Removing works right away. Anything they already posted stays.
#When a project is shared with you
You find it under Connections, Profiles, Shared with you. Open a workspace you own and turn on Show in it to work on the project from your own account, next to your projects:
- It shows up in your profile lists, marked Shared, so you can pick it in Analytics, Posts and the inbox.
- Your API keys and the AI apps you connected to that workspace reach it too, with the access you were given and never more. A read-only key stays read-only.
- What you do there shows in the owner's logs too.
- Your lists of profiles and accounts include it. Requests that name the shared profile or one of its accounts work on it directly.
- For a request that names only a post, add the header
X-Pozy-Shared-Workspacewith the workspace id shown on the shared profile (shared.workspaceId). - A key limited to some of your profiles does not reach shared ones.
Turn it off at any time. If the owner removes your access, it disappears from your account right away.
#Or ask your AI
List my projects and the accounts connected to each one, so I can decide what to share with my client.
Sharing itself is done by you, in the dashboard.
#Good to know
- One level per person. If you share two projects with the same person, both get the same level.
- Choose connectors stays tight. Accounts you connect later stay hidden from them until you add them.
- Billing, webhooks and money stay private. A shared person never reaches them, whatever the level.
- Only owners and admins can share a project.
- Sharing needs a seat. Standard is for one person, so move to Team or bigger to share. See Plans and usage.
- Their AI works with the same limits. If they connect Claude or ChatGPT, it only sees what you shared. See Control what your AI can do.
