Use your Drive and OneDrive files
Connect Google Drive or OneDrive so you, or your AI, can upload, find, share and post files from it.
For example: save a report into your drive, get a share link for a client, or use a drive image in a social post.
#What Pozy can see
| Drive | What shows up |
|---|---|
| OneDrive | Every file you can see in your OneDrive |
| Google Drive | Only files created or uploaded through Pozy. Files that were already in your Drive do not show |
Google only lets Pozy see files it made, or files you pick. Picking files from your Drive is not available yet. So on Google Drive, for now, work with files you add through Pozy.
#Do it in the dashboard
- Open Email & calendar, then Files.
- Choose Connect account. Under Google Drive or OneDrive, choose Connect to and your project.
- Sign in on Google's or Microsoft's own screen and allow access.
- Browse your folders. Choose New folder to make one, or Upload from URL to add a file from a link.
- Open a file's menu to Rename, Move, Get share link or Move to trash.
#Or ask your AI
Save the PDF at this link into my OneDrive, in the Reports folder, and give me a share link I can send to the client.
#Good to know
- Share links are open. Anyone with the link can open the file. Some companies turn this off in OneDrive, and then it fails.
- Moving to trash sends the file to Drive's trash or OneDrive's recycle bin. You can still get it back from there.
- Google files download as normal files. Docs and Slides come out as PDF, Sheets as Excel, Drawings as PNG.
- Uploads from a link work up to 100 MB. The link must be a direct, secure (https) link to the file.
- Posting a drive file makes a copy at that moment. If you edit the file later, the post does not change.
- A connected Google or Microsoft account counts as a channel on your plan. See Plans and usage.
