#What counts as a channel

A channel is one connected account: a social account, an ad account, a blog site, a store or a messaging channel. A Facebook Page, its Instagram and its ad account are 3 channels.

Posts, projects and team members do not count.
Phone numbers you buy and SMS do not count. They are billed by use.
A channel counts while it is connected, even if it needs a reconnect. Disconnect it and it stops counting.

Open Billing to see your plan. Choose Change plan or Start free trial.
Open Usage to see what you used this period, by day and by product.
To cap X, go to Billing, then Cost controls, and choose Set a cap. Type a Monthly cap (USD) and choose Save cap.

How many channels am I using on my plan, and what have I spent on X this month?

#Good to know

The X cap. At 80% of your cap, billing contacts get an email. At 100%, X posts and other paid X actions pause until the 1st, or until you raise the cap. Other platforms keep working.
Usage is charged monthly, on the 1st. If usage climbs fast, part of it is charged early. The first early charge is at $10. This does not change your total.
Full plan? Connecting one more channel is refused until you move up or disconnect one.
Moving down needs to fit what you have now. Disconnect channels or remove people first.
Who sees billing: owners and billing members can change it. Admins can look. See Invite your team and pick roles.
