Connect Google Analytics

Give your AI your website traffic: users, new users, sessions, page views and engagement rate from a GA4 property.

You sign in with Google. Access is read-only, so Pozy can run reports but never changes your property.

#Do it in the dashboard

  1. Open Inputs and pick the project at the top.
  2. Under Search and analytics, on the Google Analytics card, choose Connect.
  3. Sign in with a Google account that has at least Viewer access to the property. Allow read access.
  4. If your account can read more than one property, pick the one this project uses.
  5. The card now shows Active users, New users, Sessions, Page views and Engagement rate for the last 28 days.

#Run deeper reports

  1. On the card, choose Open reports. Or open Analytics, then Google Analytics.
  2. Pick up to 10 Metrics and up to 9 Dimensions, for example sessions by page.
  3. Pick a date range and choose Run report.
  4. Choose CSV to download the result as a spreadsheet file.

The Realtime chart shows activity in the last 30 minutes.

#Or ask your AI

How many people visited our site in the last 28 days, and how many were new? Which pages got the most views?

#Good to know

  • Google Analytics is read live, not once a day like Stripe, Paddle and Search Console. Identical reports are reused for 10 minutes.
  • Each connection is one GA4 property. Choose Connect another to add a second one.
  • Old Universal Analytics properties are not supported. Only GA4.
  • Google Analytics is a connected account, like your social accounts. So it counts as a channel on your plan.
  • Disconnect removes the property from this project and from the rest of your workspace. You can connect it again later.
  • Google limits how many reports a property can run each hour. If you hit the limit, wait for it to refill and try again.
  • Your AI cannot connect Google Analytics. You do it in Pozy.
