Calendars and finding a free time
See your Google or Outlook calendar in Pozy, add events with a video link, and find a time when everyone is free.
This is your real calendar. Invitations go out from your own calendar, exactly as if you made the change in Google Calendar or Outlook.
#Connect your calendar
- Open Email & calendar, then Calendar.
- Choose Connect account. Under Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, choose Connect to and your project.
- Sign in on Google's or Microsoft's own screen and allow access.
Already connected your mailbox for email? You may still need to connect again with calendar access.
#Do it in the dashboard
- Your calendars are listed on the left. Tick or untick them to show or hide their events.
- Switch between Week and Agenda, and use Today to jump back.
- Choose New event, or double-click an empty spot in the week.
- Add a Title, the time, and Participants (their email addresses).
- Turn on the switch to add a Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link.
- Choose Create event. Each participant gets an invitation.
Click any event to see it, change it or answer it with Going?
#Find a time that works
Under Find a time:
- Pick the Mailboxes to check. You can mix Google and Microsoft, up to 10 at once.
- Set the Meeting length, the Open hours and the days.
- Under Who must be free, choose Everyone or At least one person.
- Choose Find times, then click a free slot to turn it into an event.
The Busy this week tab shows when each person is already booked.
#Or ask your AI
Find a 30-minute slot next week when both my Gmail and my work Outlook calendars are free, between 9:00 and 17:00. Then book it as "Launch review" with a Google Meet link and invite ana@example.com. Show me the time before you book it.
#Good to know
- Finding a time only looks at each person's main calendar.
- Google events get Google Meet links. Outlook events get Teams links. You cannot add Teams to a Google event, or Meet to an Outlook one.
- A calendar marked read-only cannot be changed here.
- Times on the week view are in your browser's timezone.
- A connected Google or Microsoft account counts as a channel on your plan. See Plans and usage.
