Send and read email from your own mailbox
Connect your Gmail or Outlook. Then you, or your AI, can read, search, send and reply to email from your own address.
Mail goes out from your mailbox. It lands in your Sent folder and threads normally for the person you write to. It is made for one-to-one email: a follow-up, a reply, a proposal. It is not a tool for sending one email to a big list.
#Do it in the dashboard
- Open Email & calendar, then Email.
- Choose Connect account. Under Gmail or Outlook, choose Connect to and the project it belongs to.
- Sign in on Google's or Microsoft's own screen and allow access.
- Back in Pozy, your folders and conversations show up. Click one to read it, Reply, Reply all, star it or move it.
- To write a new one, choose New email. Add the people, a Subject and your message, then Send.
The Mailboxes box at the top shows how many emails each mailbox has sent today, out of its daily limit.
#Or ask your AI
Find the last email from Jordan about the November proposal and draft a short reply that says I can talk on Thursday. Show me the reply before you send it.
#Daily limits
Each mailbox has its own daily limit. A reply counts as a send.
| Mailbox | Sends a day |
|---|---|
| Gmail | 200 |
| Google Workspace | 500 |
| Outlook | 1,000 |
The count starts again at midnight UTC. When a mailbox hits its limit, sending stops until then.
#Good to know
- One to one, never a blast. If the same email goes to more than 50 different people within an hour, Pozy pauses that mailbox for 10 minutes. Each new pause lasts twice as long, up to 24 hours.
- Need to reach many people at once? Use broadcasts on a messaging channel instead.
- New mail shows in your inbox too. Mail that arrives while the mailbox is connected also appears in the Inbox, next to your DMs and comments.
- Attachments: up to 25 MB in total. Outlook also caps each file at 3 MB.
- Not available yet: scheduled sending, saving a draft from Pozy, and open or click tracking. Emails go out as soon as you send them.
- Work Microsoft accounts may need your IT admin to approve Pozy first.
- A connected Google or Microsoft account counts as a channel on your plan. See Plans and usage.
